Drone Defense Operations on Potato Full Mechanization

At present, it is a critical period for the formation of potato and other crop yields, as well as a key node for the occurrence and prevention of pests and diseases. In order to do a good job in potato pest and disease prevention and control, give full play to the advantages of crop protection unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) aerial defense, and improve the efficiency of prevention and control, a UAV aerial defense operation demonstration meeting was held in the potato fully mechanized production demonstration park.

At the demonstration site, the person in charge of the drone enterprise explained the knowledge of drone use, maintenance, and upkeep. The project leader of the Agricultural Mechanization Technology Promotion Service Center introduced the current scientific prevention and control methods and precautions for potato pests and diseases. Afterwards, with the command of the commander, the drone immediately took off. With bursts of roar, a plant protection drone flew lightly over the potato field under the operation of professionals, and the spray bars on both sides of the wings kept spraying white mist downwards. The advanced intelligent flight system and efficient spraying equipment of unmanned aerial vehicles can accurately and evenly spray pesticides, foliar fertilizers, etc. on each potato plant according to preset routes and parameters. The entire operation process is efficient and smooth, demonstrating the significant advantages of drone aerial defense compared to traditional manual plant protection operations.
