Cumulative Production of Small Tractors Decreased by 27.9% in the First Quarter of 2025

Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics released relevant data on the output and growth rate of major industrial products from January to March 2025. In terms of agricultural machinery, the specific production of large, medium, and small tractors is as follows:


Large tractors - production in March was 16247 units, an increase of 5.5% compared to the same period last year; The cumulative production from January to March was 38909 units, an increase of 6.1% compared to the same period last year.


Medium sized tractors - production in March was 33618 units, a decrease of 1.7% compared to the same period last year; The cumulative production from January to March was 81171 units, a decrease of 5.5% compared to the same period last year.


Small tractors - production in March was 13000 units, a decrease of 18.8% compared to the same period last year; The cumulative production from January to March was 31000 units, a decrease of 27.9% compared to the same period last year.


In the long run, influenced by national subsidy policies and large-scale land development, the production of small tractors will continue to decline, while the production of large tractors will steadily increase. The production of medium tractors may fluctuate due to factors such as busy farming and prices.
