Rice Dense Sowing and Sparse Planting Experimental study

Rice dense sowing and sparse planting technology is an innovative planting mode. It uses high-density seedling cultivation to allow seedlings to grow tightly in the seedbed stage, thereby reducing the number of manual labor required for seedling cultivation to a certain extent. In the early stage of this experiment, the technical personnel of the Agricultural Machinery Center have actively carried out high-density rice planting cultivation experiments, laying a solid foundation for subsequent work.

At the experimental site, technicians modified the seedling picking device of the rice transplanter, adjusted the seedling picking amount, and achieved sparse planting operation on the basis of high-density seedling cultivation. Technicians carefully examine parameters such as the number of seedlings per hole, hole rate, and seedling injury rate.

Next, the Agricultural Machinery Center will continue to deepen cooperation with the Shanghai Agricultural Machinery Appraisal and Promotion Station, carry out field experiments on dense rice planting and sparse planting, and lay a solid theoretical foundation for the promotion of new technologies.
